Every weekend of the year you can elevate up to 500 feet in the air and catch a unique view of the OC. The Balloon rides are all ages and can accommodate up to 30 people per ride, it’s also handicap accessible. The Orange County Great Park was formerly a military base. The Great Park Balloon is the parks first major attraction, as the park is still under construction. The balloon is one of the largest in the world of its kind. It is the largest in the United States (non-polluting)! The balloon rides are first come, first serve. Registration is required 15 minutes before flights and night flight registration begins at 6PM. The Bands in the Sand Series run every Saturday between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend. The line up of bands includes 80's covers, California surfing and much more (click HERE for the weekly concert schedule). The live band plays 6-8 PM, which is just perfect timing right before sunset.
